Try it on your store

  1. Check you’re ready

    PHP 8.2 or newer, on Magento 2.4.9+ or Mage-OS 3.0+.

  2. Install the module

    Mago isn’t on Packagist yet, so composer fetches it straight from GitHub.

    composer config repositories.mage-os-ai-base vcs https://github.com/mage-os-lab/module-ai-basecomposer config repositories.mago vcs https://github.com/mago-assistant/magocomposer require "mage-os/module-ai-base:dev-main as 1.0.0" mago-assistant/mago:dev-mainbin/magento module:enable MageOS_AiBase MagoAssistant_Magobin/magento setup:upgrade

  3. Connect your AI provider

    Create a key at Anthropic or OpenAI. Paste it under Stores › Configuration › Mage-OS › AI Configuration and press Test Connection. Then switch Mago on under Stores › Configuration › Mago Assistant.

  4. Ask your first question

    Open the chat in your admin and try one of these.

    What were our best sellers this week? Where do I change the tax display setting? /cache flush
